Whose Four Seasons?

Sat Aug 14, 2004, 6:43 PM
So... this evening I went for a casual wander through eMule, I was in the mood for some classical music, sometimes you just are.

I started off innocently enough - Bach, all well and good you may say, but what comes up on the top of the availibility chart?
eminem vs punjabi mc - lose yourself vs mundian tho bach ke
WTF is that? eminem is bad enough, but punjabi mc?! This has to be so far off the ball it's not funny, I move on....

Classical Bach -pachebel's Canon (Piano.Solo)
Mixing up our Johann's, are we?
Johann Pachelbel 1653-1706.
Johann Sebastian Bach 1685-1750
I mean...it's possible, but I doubt they did covers.

Jean Sebastien Bach - Jean Michell Jarre - Toccata & Fugue (Electronica)
Wow, I never knew he had a sister. Learn something new every day.

I give up, figure I'll go something more obvious - Mozart.

Mozart - Moonlight.Sonata
Right at the top of the list! God this one annoys me - Beethoven wrote the Moonlight Sonata you fuckknuckles! *headdesk*

Mozart - Pachebel's Canon (Piano.Solo)
*sigh* again, poor Pachelbel - they can't even get your name right.

And finally:
Wow! It's like a charity gala: Vivaldi,Mozart,Beethoven,Chopin,Ravel - Ravel_Bol ro
Not only have they attached all the obvious composers' names to it, it's also one of the most annoying pieces of classical music I know.

Bugger this for a joke, I'll go back to listening to The Planets on repeat (honestly, if you've never listened to Holst' Mars: Bringer of War in full, go forth and do so. Keep in mind it was written during WW1 - it captures to horror of mechanised warfare.)

*cringe* you've now witnessed my embarrassing art.

I'll probably catch you monday - a couple of us are coming over to help out with the stocktake at your store ('cause ours just wasn't fun enough, heheh ;) )

:iconcynicat:
Thanks man :) Gotta say, your stuff's pretty damn spiffy.

I ended up having to cover for a sick newbie on monday, so no extra stocktakage for me.
:iconarkhizon:
thanks for the compliments! I'm going to be uploading a new series called "bored at work" consisting of neat things I draw while wasting the printer paper. Don't worry about the stocktake, you only missed the exciting fun of scanning rows upon rows of stuff. Oh hey, if you got MSN, add me: the_savage_beagle@hotmail.com
